First of all, don't do it if you're not sure.
You have to think What does this tattoo say about YOU?
Also, I've seen a lot of people get tattoos that are REALLY tacky and tasteless. People who get tribal tats, and they've lived their whole lives in the SUBURBS? Please....
DON'T BE THAT GUY.

Sheesh!! google is your friend!! just type there the word tatoos and a milion sites with pics will show up. On the other hand, don't rush getting a tatoo. Better think twice before u do it and be very sure when u find the model of tatoo you wanna get, that it's the one you want! Tatoos are awfully hard to remove afterwards and if you remove it tho ull get a scar. I advise you not to get a tatoo;only common people get one; be original!

Tattoos are a very personal thing, don't get something just because you think it's cute or cool. A tattoo should have meaning to you, there should be a reason you put something permanently on your body. You should be able to look at that tattoo and it should remind you of something and mean something.

I'm in the process of getting Winnie the Pooh covered on my ankle with something a bit more mature. Be sure you pick something timeless that you won't regret in the future.
I think the Celtic knots and Chinese lettering with deep meanings are very cool.
I also suggest you put it somewhere that is not always on display. That way you can hide it when its appropriate.

make sure you LOVE them because they will be around when you're 60, 70, 80, etc and they will look TERRIBLE then. Permanent is permanent. Consider temporary tattoos. The other advantage is they can be changed. You may also find others don't like them on you.

Don't get one if you don't know what you want. You will regret it later. Make sure you know exactly what you want.
My wife and I got them for our tenth anniversary. They are both suns that I designed.
I was going to get another but I am glad I did not. It would taint the other and I would probably regret it.

You have to discover the right one on your own. I found the perfect penguin 10 years ago, and I know right where I want it. Now I just need to find a good and *clean* shop to have it done.
(It's going to be a teeny penguin juggling 3 balls)

Tattoos are used to express oneself. So if you feel the need to be on the edge and make yourself unique then by all means do it.
