How much money would it take right now to change your life? Not to suddenly turn you from struggling to mega-rich. How much would it take to get rid of your bills or buy the things you NEED etc. I am NOT offering this money to you, just so you know ;) I am just curious.

(I put this in family & relationships b/c I think this is what would be most affected by a windfall).

Someone once said that money was the root of all evil. The funny thing is that the majority of people that posted here and wanted the money to pay off bills and so forth, once that money was gone, would probably wind up back in debt.

Right now life is pretty good. The house will be paid off in a few years and beyond that there are no debts. So to make a real difference in my life it would have to be enough money to finish fixing up the house and the yard, plus enough to allow us to travel and do things on a more regular basis. I've always figured that a windfall of 10 million would all for big changes and a windfall of a million would probably take care of the smaller changes. I know a million is a lot for some people but honestly in this day and age and the point we are in life it would take that really make a difference.

To pay off all of the bills my husband and I have it would take around $190,000. This includes our home, 2nd mortgage, car and credit cards.

30k would pay off the debt, another 10k in the bank to cushion any emergencies so we don't run up debt again.
