I am always sooo tired. I go to bed at around 1-1:30am. I wake up at around 8:15am. Then when I get out of the shower, I never fail to fall asleep on my bed in my towel for about an hour. No matter what I do, I somehow cannot control this. I feel as though I could fall asleep on my way to work every single day. Now I am at work & I am struggling to keep my eyes open. Any tips on how to stay awake & get energized.

Also, on weekend. I cannot help but wake up exactly 12 hours after I fall asleep. (if I go to bed at 4am, I will wake up 4pm the next day, or later!)

Does this sound like I have some sort of sleeping order??

Sorry about all the details, but I really need info.

*EDIT* - Sometimes I will go to sleep earlier (say, 10, 11, 12) & when I do that, it seems like it is even HARDER for me to wake up in the mornings.

For starters, seven hours of sleep is not enough. Is there a reason why you can't get to bed before 1am? If you can afford to fall asleep after your shower for an hour, why not just sleep an hour later? This may eliminate some of it. Adults typically need 8-9 hours of sleep. As for the weekends, 12 hours of sleep may be a source of some of it.....too much sleep can make you as tired as too little sleep. Your body never catches up on sleep it loses, so your body isn't "catching up" on the weekends. Find a more regular sleep schedule, exercise and eat healthy. If changing all of this doesn't make a significant difference, see your doctor. I think that may be unnecessary, though.

Bues guess is you have a deficiency in your diet. That's where I'd start. The thing is that you might not be geeting all the vitamins that you need. I don't know how old you are, but I assume your a young adult, so that means that you need alot of stuff. Try improving your diet, but at the same time you should try a vitamin supplement. A multi vitamin for women would do the trick. If you need and extra kick, you can try taking some B complex tablets. They'll perk you right up.

By the way, it's not a sleeping disorder. Sleeping disorders are really nasty because let's say you don't feel sleepy at night and you sleep through the whole day, or you go three or four days without sleep and then you're out like a light for another two or three.

Do you drink a lot of caffeine?

I had troubles sleeping and such. I went to the doctor for a totally different problem, and he told me that I couldn't have caffeine anymore. So, no coke or similar pops, no chocolate, no coffee or tea, etc...

I've been caffeine free for 2 weeks now and I'm not as tired. I manage to fall asleep earlier and have a nice restful sleep.

No caffeine takes some getting use to since most of the sweets I like have chocolate in them, but it does make you feel better. It doesn't take long for you to start feeling the effects either.

Give it a try, it might help.

properly the guidelines have replaced final year as properly, however the the respond is truthful opposition. Goodyear and NASCAR made a deal some returned to offer various tire consistent with race and Goodyear has been in a position to offer. On a area be conscious the communities no longer purchase the tires from Goodyear. they actually hire the tires from NASCAR for the period of the race weekend. After the race they could return all tires, and could be fined and loose factors in the event that they do no longer.

just sounds like your body needs more sleep. why not try to go to bed earlier for a couple of days and see what happens. Also, do some research on sleep cycles. You will feel more tired if you are interrupting one. that if you wake up in between one.

Are you getting plenty of exercise? I know the times in my life when I have felt like you just described were times when I wasn't getting much activity. Too much sleep tends to make you want to sleep even more....it's a vicious circle.

If lack of activity isn't your problem, you should probably see a doctor. Maybe you're anemic or something...that can make you very tired.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.
