Yes, what you say or don't say, and how you say it does make a difference. Don't try to be anyone but yourself. Just ask her if she would like to go out with you sometime. You have a 50/50 chance there that her answer will be yes. The odds are pretty good.

Any phrase works... the unusual ones are the ones that give it a lasting impression! Makes for good stories later! And good ones at that... For ex... "When Bob asked me out, it was the sweetest thing I ever heard. He said... ( ) and I feel in love right there"...

When my hubby and i began dating, he asked me " When people ask me what we are, what do you think I should tell them?" He was so nervous! I said "Are you asking if you can call me your girlfriend?" he said he was and I told him yes but only if I could call him my boyfriend.

Yes, very cheesy, but so sweet. More than what he said, his demeanor told me how much he liked me and how hard he was trying to impress me. His attitude towards me won me more than what his exact words were.
