yes! for example, it's perfectly ok to hate green day or U2. it's especially ok to hate a band that is pretentious or has drastically changed their sound to be more marketable. what's not ok is hating somebody just for listening to these bands, unless the radio stuff is all they like

It depends. I guess it depends on whether the band produces good music (this is apparently subjective). I think I have the right to dislike the PussyCatDolls (ugh).

Naturally everyone has thier own opions. Stick to your guns and don't be sheep following the rest of the heard.

It is perfectly ok. The music nazis aren't the boss of you. The list of bands and performers that I don't like is probably longer than the ones I do like.

Please feel free to. There is such a lack of induviduallity in this society. Why do you think Paris Hilton has the world convinced she's a singer? Yes, always follow your own mind...within the limits of the law. ;-)

You are allowed to like who you want and dislike who you want. Its your own life, and that includes music.

I know what you mean though. There are the "musicnazis" who look at you like "WHAT? HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE ______(insert crappy band or singer)" Have you ever HEARD ______ (insert crappy song sung by crappy singer/band)?"

Its really annoying. So just tell them you dont like the band/singer, and if they cant take it, give them a spinning heel kick :)

Course it is! Screw what everyone else thinks. No one should dictate a person's choice in music.

Yes - Particularly if it's Coldplay or U2

Sure, just a matter of taste. Most people have bad taste, some have good taste. Well, at least that's my opinion ;-)
