I think it's a great idea. You might also check your local area (I don't know where you are from) to see if you can find a local comedy celeb who may or may not have attended your school, pitch your idea, an see if he/she will come out and host or perform - that would be really cool. Sometimes, those comedy type celebs are pretty cool, and they'll do things like that if they're around and have the time. It's good warm-up/practice for them.

Very brave, improv is very difficult to pull off, just take a look at all the guests on these shows who sit there silent while the regulars have all the gags.
I think you'll need to practice a lot, in front of audiences. And keepaway from "in" gags as people outside the school will not understand them.
Much harder than standup.

give it a shot. if you hire the right people it could be a lot of fun. 3 nights in a row of the same thing is a lot, but schools that perform plays do that at least 3 nights in a row. you'll never know if you don't try.

Good idea but 3 nights is a bit much. Try 2.

I think it is a great idea. Always a good laugh to see people making things up as they go along. If you can get a local celebrity to take aprt as well as some kids, fun will be had for all!

Go for it. IYou will never know unless you try and what if you don't make back all the money you put into it? As long as you tried it and had fun, then who cares. and I wouldn't want you to be wondering "what if". Good luck and I hope it works out.

It shouldn't cost very much. If you have a props dept or drama dept where you can get props, then that will work. Otherwise, you can have everyone involved bring some.

Sounds like fun!!! You should be able to do it cheap enough, just properly cost it up first.
