I am really interested in why people hurt people. Have you all seen Hostel yet? That film has disturbed me and I just want to know what the mental profile is for people like that or are we all capable. I love astrology so to know how to spot a nut job astrologically would be good.

I will try to watch the movie. I think that being a certain sign has nothing to do with a persons ability to be evil rather in their life experiences and mental illness and what they chose to do. i was looking back over your other answers and saw Scorpio mentioned a lot . I thought of this sign but I believe that even scorpio is not all bad as we all have our good and bad traits. We are all more compatable to certain signs though.

It's not the sign that is capable it is an individual. Signs show how we do things, the planet is the energy.
Mercury is the intellegence gatherer, information gatherer for the individual, and the interest in that info can see found in the Sun sign.

Alright, i gotta stick up for the Scorpios here. I'm a scorpio and I'm working to be a therapist so I can help other people. I also consider myself pretty generous and helpful to others. Yes, if you make me mad I can be very nasty. But I'm not a killer haha.
As someone with a background in psychology I think that "evil" behavior comes from dysfunctional childhoods and people who make poor impulsive choices.

I don't know if you can pin point it to just one, But i know there are a few killers that were Gemini... and Geminis have the split personalty and get restless and board fairly quickly and they are always in need of change...I have a book at home that will be able to tell me statically which sign has the most murders under it.
But honestly evil is blind and can be in anyone regardless of zodiac sign.

If only it were that simple! To be honest I don't believe in evil people, I believe we all have the power to do both good and evil and to control our behaviour. Some find it really hard not to give in to negative and wrong urges, often because they are psychologically damaged in some way.
It is way to complex a subject to narrow down to star signs.

You can't base someone just on their star sign. You have to take into account their environment, upbringing and personality.
Everyone is capable of violence just not "scorpios" or "aries" or "cancers".
To discrimnate against one star sign is like discrimnating against someone because of their skin color. They can't help it if they are a Cancer or a Scorpio. Not one person can choose their birthday!

It's very hard to generlise by sun sign but Scorpio would be a popular choice; but remember Hitler was a Taurus, thier opposite.
