Yes, the Smashing Pumpkins reformed earlier this year and announced that they are recording their new album but no new of a release date yet.

haha i might say that's authentic quite. i've got been stepping into Silversun Pickups a ton recently and that i think of i'm beginning as much as love them greater desirable than the Smashing Pumpkins quite. the two extremely reliable bands however.
