I think anything that conveys you've given it alot of thought is great. She will be telling this story for the rest of her life--literally--so keep that in mind (not to add to your pressure). I think going somewhere special like a beautiful outdoor spot or beach or somewhere like that and then telling her why you want to spend the rest of your life with her and then asking to be her husband is a very nice way to propose...oh, and don't forget the ring!

My husband's proposal to me was the best!
He proposed to me by sending me on a scavenger hunt. It started by sending me roses at work with a clue in the card. Each clue sent me to a different place that was significant to us (the place where we had our first date, our first apartment etc). At each place there was a gift (dvd of our favorite movie, cd with our song on it...etc) waiting for me, a card that gave a reason why he loved me, and a clue to the next location. The last clue led me back to our home where he was kneeling in the livingroom surronded by candles and flowers and down on one knee with the ring. I sobbed...it was so romantic!

Start talking about marriage.
"When I get married, I would like to..." Then turn to her, "If you were to get married, what would you want of your future?" After she answers, especially if she tracks with your description, but careful if she doesn't, then say something like, "I like that. I think my picture and your picture could go together very nicely." At that point, whether you do the 'get down on one knee' thing or stand and take her hands to raise her up, look directly into her eyes and say her name in your softest, kindest way then, "Can we live out those dreams? Will you marry me?" Good luck.

the tradition is to ask her family permission first, usually the father. you can make it an intimate evening by taking her out to a nice restaurant. at some point you'll want to get down on your knee and ask her to marry you. Good luck!

Wait until you can form complete sentences. This will increase your likelihood of success in garnering a positive response, and decrease the likelihood of you raising stupid, uneducated, illiterate babies, which we already have in abundant supply.

ok so your suicidal. then fancy resturant(no fast food you idiot). and just do it. get down on one knee and ask its the moment thing then she'll melt and she's yours. your gonna be nervis but it will pass. and if your dont you'll never now what might have been. and dont care who's whatching she the only one who matters. she's your audience.oh and dont forget the damn ring.
