None - it's music. Okay, here are the dangers of listening to Rock music - the same as listening to classical, rap, R & B, Jazz, Punk, Folk, etc., etc.

Well, if you listen to it turned up real loud you might hurt your ears. But stop fretting, worry about something more important because if you can't FEEL the music, it's of no use.
Rather than worry about the evil influences of rock music you need to look at the evil influences of those who are making you paranoid. Chill and live your life. I promise you won't go to hell for listening to music.

The same as listening to any kind of music if you have a narrow mind... being confused about living the life of the person singing the song and your own!

No dangers at all
it is not like you pickup any thing bad by listening to rock like cussing, you get that from the people around you.

I don't think you can pick one genre of music and accuse it of being dangerous. All kinds of music have the potential to be dangerous.
Just make sure you are listening to music that doesn't promote violence or disgusting behavior and you should be okay.

maybe because you might get influenced by the way they sing or how they look. I have a neighbor who keeps head banging and i dont really find it amusing. Or some people get nose rings, tatoos all over there body or get a ridiculous haircut just because they want to look like the rockstar they admire. for me its ok to listen, just dont get influenced by the way they look or the message of the song. Mostly rock music have bad messages.

i am a person who not only loves music, but i have been creating my own since i was a young child. i grew up in a stifling religious household where i was taught that certain types of music were "evil" or would create urges in me to do things that were not inkeeping with the things that i was being taught to believe. for some time i studied the effects of certain beats and minor keys on people's spirits and i came to the conclusion, after burning my entire collection of music by my favorite bands out of fear of the spiritual effects that they were having on me.....that most of it is bullcrap. i feel that music is without a doubt the most healing and powerful thing that exists. i also believe that even if you listen to something that is considered to be "hard" or "dark", perhaps it is bringing certain things to the surface which need to be healed. i have found that certain types of music, mostly rock, help me to get anger and aggression out in healthy ways......i can turn on LOUD music and just scream the rage out of me......sort of exorcise those demons....and after, i feel just fine.
so i say ROCK OUT SISTER. let yourself feel your natural emotions. repression is truly the most dangerous thing of all.

The same danger as listening to any other type of music.
If someone is going to be "bad", they are going to do it regardless of what kind of music they listen to!
