Use fire, but then you'll have a burned spot. Still...the paint will be gone.

You can use paint thinner, but check on a part of carpet you can't see if it takes the color out of that too. If it is latex paint you should be able to clean it using regular solvents, just heat it up a bit and work it out, it's water based. If it is an oil based paint and the paint thinner is too strong I would suggest freezing it and scraping it off, that should take off the majority of it.

Purchase "Goof Off" and follow instructions. Works with oil based, acrylic, latex paints. It stinks, so be prepared to shampoo the carpet after removing the paint, and don't wash clothes (in your washer) on which you apply Goof Off until it dries (until the solvents evaporate).

Depends on the carpet, but you need to thin that paint out. If it is really bad, you might have to cut that portion out and put in a carpet patch.

or they sell at home depot a product like goo gone that removes paint, but I'd check the label - may not be good for certain materials, ie Nylon
