Have you been putting the electric grease on the bottom of the module? The grease disperses heat to keep the module from frying and conducts electricity. If you've been using the grease, you might try using A GM module instead of an aftermarket.
Also, check the coils and plug wires for problems. If one is weak or bad, it may cause a power surge and knock out the module.

Could be anything but I'm guessing you have a lot of stuff hanging on your keys. Am I right? The weight on the keys can cause problems.

COULD BE YOUR COMPUTER GOING BAD IN THE CAR I HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT IT WAS THE DISTRUBITOR CHANGED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES AND IT DIDNT FIX IT CHANGED O2 SENSOR AND PLUGS AND PLUG WIRES ETC... BUT THE CAR COMPUTER WAS GOING BAD GET IT CHECKED IF U CAN HOPE IT HELPS

a shorted wire, usually supplying power to the unit. look for frayed or bare wires. electrical tape is a sure sign. also look for aftermarket repairs
