I think you mean AVG antivirus.
The same lot also do Ewido antispyware.
Both are available as free or pay for versions.
The protection is just as good for the free or pay for versions.
There are more controls and facilities in the pay for versions.
I use AVG free antivirus, works well with no problems.
Stops things that Symantec / Norton doesn't..grrr!
