Amish girls killed by that nut case in Pennsylvania? This is the HATE group that protests at military funerals with signs that say God hates fags etc. etc. Will you go and STAND between the families and the HATE group?

Cmon folks, if there ever were a time to STAND, it's now. Let's go STAND for those families, STAND for freedom, STAND against HATRED, and STAND to protect the MEEK.

Lady Rain-- It's good that you don't understand what they are protesting, because it doesn't make sense. But they believe that God is punishing the U.S. because we have tolerance towards gays. How this has anything to do with 5 murdered Amish girls, I don't know. Whatever the twisted, sickening reason they give, doesn't matter. They're hateful, mean and twisted and they need to be stopped, lawfully and cleverly, but stopped!

The Amish are the most peaceful, loving, forgiving group of Christians I know. It was noted on CNN today, that one of the Grandfathers of the deceased child, ask his family to love, forgive and not hate. What an upset to have this group show up at the funeral of these little girls. However; then again the public will see the contrast of light (Good Christian values) and dark (Extreme Nut Case). I wish that those who are logistically close enough, provide a sound and visual barrier for the grieving Amish families and their community.

I would gladly go and protect the Amish community from the sick and twisted cult known as the WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH, run by their leader, and father/uncle...Fred Phelps...If I were able. Unfortunately, I'm really busy this weekend, FAMILY responsibilities...

Most of the members of that so called "church" are all related. It's one huge Hate Family.
They're sick and need to be put down...just like infected Dogs!

The Amish are peaceful people. They don't even own guns!
They don't believe violence solves anything. They don't even hunt for their own meat. They are an agrarian society. They raise chickens for eggs, grow most of their own grains and vegetables, raise horses to plow their fields and to trade/auction. The women sew quilts and dolls to supplement the family and their community's income.
They don't ever go out of their way, individually, to be noticed. They never raise their voices in public, except only when doing business such as at an auction...just to be heard, never to scare or in anger.

These quiet people never would have deserved this...there is no excuse, no reason, no justification.

Fred Phelps and Pat Robertson are not all that unrelated in their views. Pat Robertson blamed our tolerance of gays for 9/11. Fred Phelps bunch protests the funerals of veterans who lost their lives fighting in Iraq for the same reason.
They're sick.

They protested at a funeral in my homestead city this summer season. The funeral replaced into for a fallen soldier. Our close by veterans alongside with over two hundred veterans rode motorcycles carrying the yank flag surrounded the gang protesting and drowned out their yelling with the roar of their motorcycles so the family individuals could no longer see or pay attention them. It replaced into an remarkable sight to work out all those flags. THIS group IS terrible. My prayers and ideas our with the families in Pennsylvania.

That is reprehensible! I'd love to banish that old man and his whole family. I'd put them on a leaky boat with enough food to get somewhere and then set them adrift! Let them go practice their hate anywhere else on earth and let's see how well they'd be accepted!

Ladyrain - this is a very hateful group that has been causing controversy for months now and you have not heard about who they are and what they do - you must not be too informed a person in general. Do a google search for the westboro baptist church. But be prepared - their message is very hateful.

This is not surprising in Kansas. I lived there for 6 years and I ask that all sane, non-fundamentalists, respecful and God-living people should just move out of that state so we can quarantine it and forget is ever existed. As I go around the country now, I always say " if you have to go somewhere that requires you to drive through Kansas, don't... Just drive AROUND it, seriously. There is a say in Kansas by people who cringe about ever moving there or having the misfortune to have been born there and it goes like this : "Went on vacation in Kansas, left on probation" and it is no joke! Save yourselves and DON'T GO TO KANSAS ( I want to start a web page about how bad Kansas is)

What are they going to protest? Innocent lives lost? Or the fact that they are Amish?
Just did a quick background check on old Fred (thank you wikipedia) and I think he has bigger problems he should be worrying about.
Isn't he going to get a shock when he dies (hopefully a horrible death) and finds that god_hates_people_like_him_more

Perhaps the time has come to show them a little Gay power to give them something to really fret about. I have no problem with dispensing the violence they promote...I wonder what would happen if they got a taste of their own medicine. Perhaps we should find out!
