Chinese astrology is really neat, but kind of confusing at the same time for those who only pay attention to Western astrology. Western astrology, I'm an Aries. Chinese astrology I was born in the year of the tiger, element fire.
Personally, I think Chinese astrology makes more sense.

I'm a water, Tiger with a Monkey, ascendant, I'm inspired by it, especially the similarities it has with Western Astrology.
I always wondered about the symbols when eating at Chinese restaurants. A few years ago my friend invited me to a class on astrology, been studying ever since.I love the way Eastern and Western astrology layer together.
Both have 4 sets or triangles of affinity: Western; Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Eastern: Doers: Rat-1st; Dragon-5th; Monkey-9th; Thinkers: Ox-2nd; Snake-6th; Rooster-10th; Protectors: Tiger-3rd; Horse-7th; Dog-11th; Catalysts: Rabbit-4th; Sheep-8th; Boar-12th.

I am a tiger. I think that Chinese astrology is like anything else. It is entertaining and it hits points every once in a while. I don't put too much stock into anything, as far as, something telling me who I am or how I need to live. I do read it for fun.

12 signs in 5 elements gives 60 variations. Especially excellent for all different kinds of relationships, even superior to Western astrology on that subject. Yet like anything else, takes years of study and observation to master.

Im a Sagg. Earth Snake, Intelligent, Traditional, and optimistic baby! Lol i love finding new information on earth snake, but since everyone who is 16-17 right now is a earth snake, I like to combine western with chinese. However its hard to find that sort of horoscope =(

I'm a fireDragon and I find chinese astrology rather confusing.Some of it fits,goes along with my leo moon and scorpio risning...but doesn't describe other qualities I have that balance it out.I perfer western astrology because for me it makes more sense.Especially in synastry,compatability.

My animal is the rabit coincidentely so is my husband's. As far as astrology oes it's about half right U know just like any other.
