This has never happend to me but I'd like to get your opinion on this subject.

You best friend has a lover they have been with for a while and the relationship seems to be going on fine. They get along great and you’ve never seen two people happier than them. Sunday, you walk into a place (anyplace you want it to be) and you see your best friend’s lover with somebody else. They see you and they beg you not to tell your friend. Being as though you have a loyalty to your friend and if this was you, you would want them to tell you, do you tell your friend or not?

Well if your friend is like most people here is the way the situation will go down.

You tell them, they confront the lover, the lover makes good excuse and then turns friend against you, you and friend fight, he takes lover back and now you have no friend. Seen it go down like that WAY too many times, let him catch her, when that person catches them, then they make a decision based on thier own feelings not a bunch of he said she said crap that they really aren't sure about anyways.

Your loyalty lies with your friend so HELL YES I would tell. I would be FURIOUS if I found out my best friend knew my man was cheating on me and didn't tell me. For some people their friend turned on them for telling BUT I know I would want to know so I would tell! tell! tell!

Yes, of course you should tell your friend if this was in fact happening. BF's and GF's will come and go but you will always have you best friend's there for you...

I would, but I wouldn't just come out and say it flat out. You have to play it by ear. Think about it, someone is playing your homeboy/homegirl, and if it was you in their place, you'd want to know wouldn't you?

I WOULD SUGGEST THAT THE FRIEND ASK HIS GIRLFRIEND WHERE SHE WAS AT THAT TIME YOU SAW HER. HOPE THAT SHE TELLS HIM, BUT IF SHE LIES SHE IS NOT ONLY A CHEATER BUT A BOLD FACE LIAR AND HE SHOULD BE TOLD THE TRUTH. NOBODY DESERVES TO BE TREATED THAT WAY.
