I would like to re-phrase your contention "All religions converge at the same point". Your contention is based on the assumption that "Good" is the final destination/focal point where all religions of the world are striving to reach. If by "Good" we mean pure divinity that every soul is striving to realize, then this is true Spirituality. Spiritually is essentially free from any doctrinal/dogmatic attributions and is purely a quest for the divine. There is a difference between spirituality and "religion". "Religion" is supposed to be synonymous with spirituality; differences among different "religions" being merely on account of different attributions (such as rituals, mode of worship) that are appropriate to the society and culture of the place. Such attributions to a "religion" emerge naturally depending upon the time and place (society and culture) where the religion started. But, there is a difference between "religion" and "organized religion". Unfortunately an "organized religion" makes these attributions more important than the real spirituality that actually leads all belief systems to the one and only one goal-the Divine. Prime importance on these attributions by different "organized religions" then gives rise to the notion that only their particular "path" is the correct path. This ignorance leads them to forget completely that "paths" are fashioned by these attributions that are relative and thus any other "path" fashioned by some other attribution is equally correct and leads to the same goal.
"Religion" was not created by the Divine/God. It is the creation of man; an attempt to know and experience and realize divinity in their own ways as fashioned by their surrounding. However, "organized religions" make Divine their captive by claiming to have exclusive access that followers of other religions can't. For them "path", a Relative thing, is Absolute to the extent that it becomes more important than the only Absolute-the Divine. This myopic spiritual vision causes intolerance that leads to all the religious conflicts. The situation is similar to the story of a frog in the well who never went out of the well in his life. The well was the world for him. One day a frog from a river accidently fell into the well and both were having a conversation. Well frog asked the river frog how big was the river. When the river frog said that it is much much bigger, the well frog made a big jump and asked if the river was that big. When he was told that the river was a lot bigger, more than he could think of, the well frog dismissed the river frog as insane because he thought that there could not be anything bigger than his well.
The bottom-line is that "religion" converges but "organized religion", with its mypoic outlook and focus on outer encrustations, diverges.
We were meant to co-exist. Deep beneath all of us are striving toward the Divine, but because of ignorance engendered by mypoic understanding of spirituality many refuse to tolerate others practicing different "path". The need of the hour is to break the barrier of "organized religion" and venture into the realm of pure spirituality that binds.

I think human being , by and large , did not have choice of any particular faith or religion when they were BORN. They were told that they are this or that. At an impressionable age they
were given the greatness of one religion over the other,. Later , when they are adults and have their own thinking , they choose to be in a religion or not. In many underdeveloped countries , even this thinking was done by someone else ( for them) and a religion was given to them. ( sort of branding)
Because of this, I feel the religions are neither converging or diverging but are running parallel in their respective lanes. And it has become a race.
What is slowly emerging is the essence of religion, called spirituality. Today. spirituality is uniting the people around the globe and this is a good sign.
I witness , in India , people of different faiths , nationalities and beliefs come to a great spiritual leader by name SAIBABA. I am sure there should be many many such great spiritual leaders arond the world , uniting the people.
People from the religious side will jump into this ....sooner or later

observe that lim (x ? ?) (a million/ [x^5 * {exp(a million/x) – a million} ])/(a million/x^4) = lim (x ? ?) a million/[x (a million/x +a million/2x² + a million/6x³......)] = lim (x ? ?) a million/[a million + a million/2x + a million/6x²...] = a million > 0. because, for each a > 0, ? (0, ? ) dx/x4 = a million/3a³ converges, it follows from the reduce comparisson attempt that ? (a, ?) dx / [x^5 * {exp(a million/x) – a million} ] converges for each a > 0. also, ? (0, a ) dx / [x^5 * {exp(a million/x) – a million} ] = ? (a million/a, ?) t^5/( exp(t) -a million) (-a million/t²) dt = ? (a million/a, ?) -t³/( exp(t) -a million) dt. all of us understand that ? (a million/a, ?) t³/exp(t) dt converges. because [t³/exp(t)]/[ t³/( exp(t) -a million)] ? a million as t ? ?, the reduce comparisson attempt shows that ? (a million/a, ?) -t³/( exp(t) -a million) dt converges, so as that ? (0, a ) dx / [x^5 * {exp(a million/x) – a million} ] converges. therefore, this fundamental might want to be chop up into the sum of two convergent integrals, meaning it converges.

Most religions teach good. They are taught by men. Men have their own corrupt interests. Money, property sex. In the name of religion evil men can pursue their corrupt interests. It's kind of like seduction of a pretty woman by a man telling her what she wants to hear.

All religions in the world are feathers of same bird i.e., God with different colours. There is only one God & there is only one universe. Similarly man is also only one. Man should aim that one God & he should belong to all religions in universe. He should pick up diamonds from all religions & use in his spiritual path. One can have love towards the nationality. Every nation has some physical boundaries. People who are living in that nation have that nationality. Thus there is a meaning in nationality because it has physical sense. But in case of religion & spiritualism there is no physical sense.
Every religion belongs to every man. So in religious & spiritual matters all religions can be used. Human incarnation in every religion announces that He is universal preacher. Message of Lord Krishna i.e., Bhagavat Gita is for entire world. The message of Jesus i.e., Bible is for entire world. Message of Mohammed is for entire world. So there is no need of conversion of religions. Just like in science invention of Einstein is useful for whole world, every religious preaching is for everybody. Different scientists belonging to different countries have discovered different scientific inventions. The subject science contains all these inventions. If any invention is removed the science becomes discontinuous. Similarly the spiritualism consists of the preaching of the preachers belonging to various countries.
Spiritualism must be built up by preaching of Lord Krishna, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Mahavir etc. Spiritualism means truth like science. Different religions are following their preachers & they have taken essence of their scriptures into practice. Such traditional practices are like different experimental parts of Science. Scriptures of different religions are like different theories in various chapters of science. In science student does not distinguish scientist based on his nationality. Similarly in spiritualism one should not have repulsion or attraction to any scripture or tradition in World.
