Different vehicles, different prices. The belt will be the cheapest $30-$50. To do one head could be $300 plus parts. Labor prices vary over the country, could be anywhere from $200-$500.

first , why the two they dont have anything to do with each other actually. valves replacing is only when you have a burnt valve the timing belt is replaced when it has jumped and the car doesnt start, sometimes when the timing belt jumps it will warp a valve. this will take a valve job which means pulling the heads off then the timing belt parts and labor around 700 dollars. cheaper to get another motor if you tear a motor down to do this might as well go ahead and rebuild it. when you repair the top end the bottom end weakens vise versa.

You really need to post what make and model car you have as well as engine size to get a somewhat accurate response. Some cylinder heads require more labor hours to simply remove and replace them thereby driving your total costs up. Also, intake and exhaust valves can be made of different materials and will vary greatly in regards to cost depending on type of engine.

well timing belts are cheap $30-50 range, depends on how many cylinders u have will be the cost heres a rough figure brokedown, have ur head taken to the machine shop, have them resurface, clean, check for leaks, cracks, and even replace the valves.$25-cleaning,$25-resurfacing,$25-check for leaks,$25-each valve replaced, depends what motor u have,u usally have 2 valves pe cyclinder so do the math, now labor for just replacing the head, gaskets, timing belt or chain-$200

Did your belt break??

If so, and you have an interference engine, it could have damaged more than valves.

If non interference, the engine will still turn over.
