I suggest you wait until your hair is (at least) half an inch long. I'm telling you to wait that much because you want your hair to grow as even as you can.
Waxing can be painful but it's the way to go. When I was 15 I was too lazy to wax my underarms and I decided to start shaving. I made a mess of myself! my underarms started turning darker and darker and I had two hairs per hole. A year ago I decided to start waxing and I've seen a lot of changes and I love it, basically because I don't have to do it so often (it's progressive)

That really depends on how fast your hair grows. For me, the down time is usually around four weeks (and by the fourth week, I can barely stand myself!). Just wait until the hair is longer than 1/2 centimeter. I've found that when it's about 3/4 cm, I get a better, longer lasting wax because the longer hairs are easier to grab.

Depends on the waxing system you're using!

Just rememebr that your hair grows back at different rates, so it may take a couple of cycles of waxing before all the previously shaved hair has grown long enough and it's all being pulled out at the same time!!

Until the hair is 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch for both. This is to prevent skin irritation. If it is longer, trim before waxing.

They will tell you that your hair in the area that you want waxed will need to be about 1/2 to3/5 inch long but I wax my legs myself when it is about 1/4 inch long and then just go over the small areas that I missed with a razor! Best of Luck.

there is no specific waiting time, as everyones hair grows at different rates.

but on average the hair should be at least 1/4 of a cm for the wax/sugar to grip onto

It is usually best to wait about 2 weeks for all three cycles of hair to come thru.
