....because they hate the governor of Pennsylvania.

Anyone know if that's true?

If they do that, they should fear for their lives. It won't go over well.

Oh no, that is just terrible. The Amish never bother a soul, those kids didn't deserve to die-they deserve a family funeral so they can rest in peace.
Whoever they are, the godhatesfags people, they're in for a rude awakening come judgement day.

Westboro Baptist chiurch and Fred Phelps are nothing in this world. I lived in Topeka Kansas and have seen thier hatred first hand many many times. They have the right to picket the funeral per the laws. However the laws of the lord and decency would never allow such a thing. This man will have his judgement day soon enough as he is ill with cancer. However the sad thing is his legacy will live on in his daughter, who for the most part leads thier group. It lives within his grandchildren as well. These young minds have been raised to hate everyone.

We as good christians should not hate them, but pray for them. pray that they somehow find the true meaning of the lord. That they find love not hate. That someday they see how wrong they were and ask for his forgivenss against all they have hated. This includes the military men and women, these shooting victims, and the gay men and women as well. We are all God's children, and should love not hate.

yes, its true, and how sad, this community is burying thier children and they make it a political statement? And who cares who they hate, just like who cares if someone is gay, I don't care about other peoples life styles, and I sure don't care about whom these people hate. Where are the people picketing across from these people with signs that say God hates Ignorance? Who are these people, not just this group, but people in general whom go around delcaring what God likes and dislikes... if he hated every little group, then why is it a sin to kill each other? What do 5 little girls from a small Amish community have to do with any of this, we can't help put try to commercialize EVERYTHING can we.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything Fred Phelps does. He's not a very good Christian, I mean Jesus preached love; All Phelps spouts is hate. He's not a very nice man.

Wanna hear something really sad? Phelps is protesting a high school production of, "The Laramie Project" in November here in Des Moines, Iowa. Isn't it sad that he's sunk this low?

Any religious group that uses the emotional distress of another for a publicity stunt, cannot be teaching anything good or moral. For prople to stoop so low as to take advantage of these people to further their twisted plan really shows that America is more concerned with terrorists from outside the country than she is in protecting her own from themselves.

All I can say is it would take a person with no class what-so-ever to protest anyone's funeral. Seriously, that is the lowest of the low. And I do mean anyone's funeral, that is a time of greiving for the family and friends and should be respected.

Yes it's true. And I believe that NOW is the TIME to STAND against this HATE group. Many people are advocating the use of violence against them. I don't, but they are rolling the dice aren't they?

I don't know.
I won't go to that website to see.
The amish aren't really big on the police and prosecuting people like that so if someone was going to "deal" with Fred and Crew, it seems like there would be the place to do it though.
