Spirit people are drawn to anyone who is "open". Belief in ghosts, however, in and of itself will not cause you to suddenly be aware of ACTUAL spirits. Likewise, your own "wishful thinking" can come into play, which will cause you to attribute "anything that goes bump in the night" to a ghostly experience. Most of such things can be easily explained by natural occurences - so it's always best to seek out rational common causes before attributing everything that seems unusual to a ghost.

Your own imagination or a deep need to dispel loneliness can also cause your mind to develop what is known as an imaginary friend ... which most of the time is not really a spirit, but a projection of your own mind, where you take an ideal and build upon it.

Whilst I do believe that everyone possesses some degree of awareness in the spirit world (because we are all spiritual beings), as well as psychic ability, I must point out that not everyone has the gift of discerning spirits.

Yes!!! Believing in Ghost not only making you feel they are around but respecting their existence in the point of view of Christians, specifically Catholics. If we believe in the Holy ghost then the opposite also exist. We have to respect them for them to respect us... karaso.

I believe in ghosts, but I do not feel them. I psychic once told me that I had a little girl ghost in near my pool, but I have never felt her nearby.

I think we can trick our minds into believing anything. I myself do believe in ghosts, not that I have ever seen one, thank God. But sometimes I get funny feelings. I live in a house that is 140 years old. But I always tell myself, it's my mind playing tricks on me. My youngest son contributes to it, by being afraid to sleep in his room, he thinks he sees things and also says something whispers his name sometimes. So the answer to you question is probably tucked away securely in your own mind.

Good luck! : )

It is a psychosomatic response. If you believe in something strong enough, then you will start to actually "feel" the conditions you think you are supposed to. Remember that all of feeling is in your head because your brain has to interpret the impulses sent from your body. It is the same idea as people that convince themselves they are sick actually start feeling symptoms.

Yes. Your mind and body are connected. If you believe in something strongly enough, it will eventually manifest itself in (your) reality.

I'm not saying a ghost will actually appear, but you will either think you see one or you will see signs of one that will eventually lead you to believe you saw one.

No... you can believe in them, but it won't give you the ability to feel them or see them... I wasn't much of a believer.. Until I actually saw them, and started to feel them around. It something that's natural in you to see them or feel them, kinda like a 6th sense...

If you concentrate on ghosts too much, it may feel that way. Good Luck! :)
