I've read an article that men can't do that, but women can. Like while we watching soccer, than there's someone calling us. Usually men just ignore that, but women don't.
Why don't you try this: get 2 pen right now.Your right hand hold one and left hand hold the other one. now try to draw triangle on the right hand and square on the left hand. At the same start with the same end. And You will know the result. ^ ^

Interesting question. Young people I know claim to be able to do "multi-tasking" in their own minds, but my impression is they can do two things at once only because they're not doing either one very well.
However, I suppose you could have one level doing something very routine, like laundry, and the other doing something more creative. I don't know if that's literally "at the same moment," however. My thoughts do wander in the laundromat, while pulling things out of the washer (watch for socks that are determined to fall to the floor) or folding clothes (stack them so that they are easy to put in the bags to go home in the right order). I am vaguely aware of the task, but can also be aware of a conversation with a neighbor or my plans for the afternoon.

I'm scatterbrained. I think of a gazillion things at once. Seriously, the brain controls all of the body's voluntary and involuntary actions. It doesn't have to "think" to breathe or anything like that. I say your brain can think about more than one thing at a time because it's such a complex organ, and each hemisphere has its own function. Remember, the left hemi is the language hemi, while the right hemi is the perception hemi. So yeah, it can process more than one thought at a time!

Of course the brain can think of different things at the same time...
How does it read musical notes, and make the fingers play the right keys, and keep the heart beating, the lungs breathing, your hearing going so you know you're in tune, and thinking all the while that someone should turn down those damn stage lights because it's too hot in here... all while playing the piano

No you usually think of one thing and then shift attention to something else.
When you do different things at the same time that is called multitasking but that does not mean you are thinking of different things simultaneously.
Some actions are "how to do" tasks that one does not use his/her mind for (i.e. eating).

I think most of you peoples totally misinterpreted the question. If you mean 'think' as in 'say stuff in your head' then no. You can only have 1 idea in your head. That's like trying to say 2 different sentences at the exact same time.
However, if you mean 'think' as in multitask (read/play music while counting the time signature in your head) then yes.

If you are a man, sometimes thats impossible since we have 2 brains, and 1 works better than the other.

Yes, it can. Although most of the time not consciously. One may become aware of this but, still carry on as if nothing happens ( it's because nothing happens).

It can if you have an uncouncious thought (breath, walk,...) and a concious one at the same time.

Multi-taskers do it all the time! :) I think most people have the ability, but we pay more attention to the one we deem either more important or more interesting. :)
