I cooked something last night that required me to chop onions. Well today I'm at work and everytime I get my hands close to my face I smell the onions. It's not bad to where the whole office is stunk up. But how can I get rid of the smell while I'm at work. I've already tried washing my hands plus I took a shower this morning. I've put lotion on and everything. Considering I work in an office what could I do to get rid of the smell?

-A great tip for cleaning the fish smell off hands. Shampoo, especially Suave works well. Just wash your hands in the shampoo.
-To get the onion or garlic smell off your hands just rub your hands on your stainless steel sink.
-To get the smell of onion from your hands after cutting up an onion, simply rub a metal spoon all over your hands under water.
-To get rid of the smell of garlic off of your hands, rub with lemon or tomatoes, and try coffee grounds after that if the smell is not gone.
-Remove onion smells from your hands by rubbing with baking powder before washing them.

I'm not sure if you can get some lemon juice but rubbing that on your hands will work. Also if you rub some sea salt with a little water, like a moistened scrub on your hands for a few minutes. Then rinse off should work to. One more thing I've heard of but not tried, is rubbing something that is sterling silver in your hands will take the smell away too. Good luck.

I know this sounds strange, but take a metal spoon and basicly wash your hands with it under water. There is something in the metal that de-onionises the smell out of your hands.

Ok, let me think. In an office... do you have a break room with a fridge? If so, is there baking soda in it? You can use that to wash your hands in. You can also rub your hands on stainless steel sinks or try lemons.

stainless-metallic "cleansing soap". extremely it extremely works. i do no longer know how, inspite of the incontrovertible fact that that's marvelous. bypass to a great kitchen enterprise, or try Kleeneze, they sell them. that's extremely nicely certainly worth the £3 or so. Jo
