My friend gave me this really nice watch that he didn't want anymore but the face is pretty scratched... I was wondering if there are any "home remidies" I could use without replacin the glass. Cheers for any suggestions!

I read in one of those fix-it books one time that rubbing toothpaste on the face of the watch would remove scratches. I know it sounds silly. I've never tried it myself though...

To remove scratches or hide them on windshields people use a newspaper and rub it in a circular motion.

the only way that I know of is to get the face polished. It must be done by a pro but its relatively inexpensive.
