OK i am having my third baby in three years, so i should know whats going on by now but i dont. My last 2 babys, i had to be induced into labor. This time i still have 9 weeks left, and for the last 3 weeks or so, my pelvis is sooooo sore, and some days it feels like everything is wide open and ready to deliver. Is this my body getting ready to put itself into labor? ( i am not worried about premature labor) i just wold really like to have a full natural delivery from beginning to end. any input?

Not to worry about the vacuuming and laundry, one chore a day. i was really only looking for some supportive answers, from people who have experienced the same thing. trust me if i was worried, i wouldnt be asking on yahoo!!!

I think it is funny that so many people are telling you labor is coming. They have no idea and at 9 weeks early that would not be a good thing!!

I had horrible pelvic pain for the whole 3rd trimester of my second pregnancy. You have probably been picking up your other 2 kids and bending down a lot. It really strains your body.

I swore the baby was going to fall out or my pelvis was going to break in 2 sometimes!! It hurt really bad. I had trouble walking sometimes. If you lay on your side for as much as possible it helps make that pain better. The pregnancy hormones naturally loosen and relax ligaments to get ready for labor but it is not an imminent sign.

If you think you are showing signs of labor at 9 weeks to go, you need to call your doc immediately.

It's going to happen soon! My second was induced, but the first one...OH BABY!!! I walked around feeling like the baby was gonna drop out, being my first I had no clue! When I went to the doctor for my weekly check up the doctor asked how I was feeling, I said great! He said great, then it's a good day to have a baby, you are 4cm's dialated! I almost passed out and less than 5 hours later I had a baby. When is your next appt.? If it is more than a week away, I think you should call and ask if you can come in early.

From experience, I had three baby's in three years too, all daughters, and it's tough on your body. I felt that way for a long time with my last one and my water broke at 29 weeks. You need to be worried about preterm labor, my daughter is now almost 3 but she has a few issues, she's alive and healthy and we got very lucky with her, please call your doctor and make sure everything is okay. What you're feeling could be your body calling out a warning to you. Just call and make an appointment soon even if it's just for piece of mind.

It could be that your body is strained after 3 babies in only 3 years. Pregnancy can be hard on the body and often the body needs time to recover. The only way to know for sure if you should be worried is to go to the doctor and get it checked out. It could be that you've started to dilate (some people can dilate as much as weeks before they deliver). Get it checked out, especially if you feel cramping.

I've had a baby myself, and I've had pain in my pelvic are as well during the end. I think it's normal considering all the extra weight the area has to carry. My delivery was entirely natural ecxept episiotomy, butr I think to the doctors were just impatient:) Don't worry, just make sure to talk about it when you see you obst.
I wish you a smooth, fast and happy delivery!

Ooohh, I remember that feeling! Feels like your hips and pelvis are slowly being torn apart? Yeah, that's your ligaments softening to allow the baby's head through. If I remember correctly, I felt that pain my entire last month or so. Perfectly normal.

confident generally, i'm preggo with my 4th and at 27 weeks i went into the wellbeing midsection and that they informed me my cervix develop into quite mushy and 50% thinned out (effaced) and that i'm now 33 weeks, so as that develop into 6 weeks in the past! I certainly have not been checked on condition that because of the fact they do no longer desire to stimulate my cervix for me to dilate extra effective so early.

You should be having regular(bi-weekly to weekly) prenatal Ob-Gyn visits. Are you doing so?? It does not sound like it. Or else they would be the one's (not Yahoo answers) to answer your worries and monitor you closely until you deliver.
