"After very detailed analysis of all games of the match," the manager of Veselin Topalov writes this morning (15 minutes before the start of game seven), "we would like to present to your attention coincidence statistics of the moves of GM Kramnik with recommendations of chess program Fritz 9."

I don't understand Topalov is the best he would smell/sense fritz
immediatly and at this level of play I find it hard to belive that anyone would bother using engine. This is for the World
Championship the same one Lasker Stienitz Botvinnik
played for who in their right would risk it?!

If the allegations were true it would be the biggest scandal in a 150 years in Chess and Kraminak would be destroyed.

Just sour grapes if you asked me I don't think Kraminak is a
cheat.

Frankly there were too many blunders in these games, for either player to be using Fritz.

The coincidence percentages in these games are not much different than in other grandmaster games. In Fact Topalov’s percentages in San Luis were even higher than Kramnik's in this tournament.

If anyone really wanted to cheat there are a other engines a lot stronger than Fritz. Rybka is currently rated 266 points higher than Fritz 9.

I think Topolov is just trying to get Kramnik upset so he will forfeit another game.

This whole match is just embarrassing. The world of chess has always been a little nuts, but this match was supposed to be a "reunification" to get things better organized and provide a positive, unified face to the world, and it's ended up doing the exact opposite. Just pathetic.
