and it's bothering him and he says it's the size of New York and it hurts like FREAKING CRAZY.What should I do??

It may not be a pimple if it has a very big red area around it and a small black dot in the middle than it coudl be staff infection, if you think that it might be don't try and pop it go to the doc as soon as possible and get an antibotic, this can become serious, if you think that it is just a pimple that take a wet washcloth and put it in the microwave for about 30secs and then hold it on the pimple for a few minutes with a little bit of pressure and the poke a small pin size hole in it and it should pop, I would then put some triple antibotical cream on it and cover for a day or so it shoudl go away then. Heating a wet rag in the microwave for 30 seconds and placing that on the pimple will soften the area and get it ready for "popage". Be sure to clean area well before and after procedure.

Do not pop it. No "pimple" is the size of New York. It could be, and probably is, a pilonidal cyst, a type of furuncle, and requires a doctor for treatment....

If it is warm to the touch, it may be a staph infection. He needs to see a dermatologist. Don't waste time with a regular doctor. And yes, it is contagious.

Just pop it! For God's sake, you'll have to do worse in your marriage. Wait 'til he gets hemhorroids and you have to stick your finger up his butt to insert the suppositories!

Nothing! Let him and/or his doctor deal with that issue. That's nasty and he should be ashamed of himself for even insinuating that you should "help". There are some things that a wife simply shouldn't do! Besides, if it's that big, home remedies might infect it and then you've got a real nasty problem.

Send him to the dermatologist. If you try a home remedy, it could become horribly infected. He may need oral antibiotics to cure it as well as a topical treatment.

pop it for him or if it has been there for a while it could be an ingrowen hair,so send him to the doctor and that will get you out of having to do the dirty work.
