every thing else are working well, like yahoo answers ,Groups but mail not

Generally you just got disconnected at some time from their servers. Also a lot of big websites will have occasionally attacks from hackers who try to flood their servers with ping requests which cause lots of network traffic which effects all users trying to access that site. It doesn't happen often, most network engineers can block these requests but hackers will generally find another way. Just to do it. or it could be your connection, depeneding on your method of accessing the internet.

I think Yahoo is so busy it just can't keep up. When I get the Page cannot be displayed page I just try again, it usually works. Yahoo is like the freeway during rush hour.

being on dialup has nothing to do with it...
have you tried other "secure" sites, like other email sites (i.e. hotmail, etc)...or is it just yahoo mail?
