Sociology is the study of society, psychology is the study of the human brain and behaviour. There is such a thing as "sociological psychology" which centres around observing things like interaction with other people, but there's a lot more to psychology, for example the physiology of the brain, the pharmacology of how drugs act on the brain, mental illness and its treatment, and processing models of brain function.
