Play Runescape if you like games where there is a lot of adventure and you get to move around and find objects. But runescape recently started needing a new kind of Java, and it gets bugging that whenever you die, you lose everything. Also, if you like 2D games, play adventure quest. No moving around. Just button clicking. It's nice and simple. If you want a game like adventure quest, but you want to move around, use Dragonfable.

Try Guild Wars (or Guild Wars Factions). It's a free to play game that you could buy at the store. Just buy the disk, and everything else is free (except your monthly bills). It has a unique adventure that has different quests for every character and a decent character generation. You can also create and alter strategies on the go with other players, etc...

Dark Age of Camelot
Great setting, extensive background and storyline (if you are that type), the best realm v. realm warfare out there, recently aquired by EA.
Only downside is that its days are numbered. Its development company, Mythic Entertainment, is now working on a Warhammer based MMORPG. The concensus is that when Warhammer launches, DAoC will be very short lived. Granted we have a year or so at earliest for Warhammer, so grab that 14 day trial and roll a fresh toon!

don't do those other retarded games-like rune scape and battleon- do tibia- very good game if you figure out how to play it but you have to download it works on windows 98+ the game gives you hints and you can become premium for $27.99 for 3 months. ctrl+h for help. your cursor will turn into magnifying Glass and move over things to show the description of it-the thing is if you don't see a lot of high levels you need level 8 to get to mainland.

the best game ever for MMORPG is Guild Wars...the graphics are great and everything else about it is superb...

World of Warcraft is the best for me. It has a HUGE map, millions of players, and lot's to do, no matter what level you are.
