I have a gorgeous white dress with navy blue trim for my 5 year old daughter. I didn't even get a chance to let her wear it, when I accidently spilled some juice on it. I washed it and now there are blue stains on it. I don't know if the stains are from the juice or if the navy blue bled on the white. It actually looks more like the navy blue color bled on the white more than juice stains. I don't know what to do to get it out. I don't want to throw it away, because it was kind of expensive and it is beautiful and worst of all, she hasn't even worn it out yet. If anyone knows anything I could do, please let me know. I tried washing it, but it didn't work.
Thanks

I didn' t dry it in the dryer. I let it air dry. The tag doesn't say anything about how to clean it or even what material it is. It's really wierd. I am going to try each idea and see which one works. I hope something does.

o.k. I found the tag with the info. It says 60 percent cotton and 40 percent polyester. It says machine wash in cold, which I did.

Does it say dryclean only?.....What kinda fabric is it....I worked at a cleaners once. and have gotten many stains out
Let me know more about , maybe I can help
With cotton and polyester there should be no problem getting the stain out....If you think it is the dye from the trim, use a bleach pen on it while the dress is damp....DONT GET IT ON THE TRIM!!!!...be close to running water, put the bleach pen on it and watch close, as soon as you see a change run the spot under the running water(Cold Water)....keep doing this until the spot in gone.... I would not tell you this if I thought if would harm the dress...I have used this many times....Make sure you rinse the spot under water to COMPLTELY remove the bleach.....If it is real close the the trim and you are worried about it, go to wal-mart and get some RITS dye remover....
Good Luck and let us know how it turns out...

I don't know if this will work, but its worth a try. Have you dried the dress in the dryer? Heat will "set" a stain and then you don't' have much of a chance to get it out. Wash it with Clorox 2, and sometimes I make a paste with "dry" laundry soap and water and let it set on stains for a day or two; sometimes this well help. If it really looks like stains from the navy blue part you might try taking it back to where you bought it and explain that this is what happened the first time you washed it? Anyway if nothing else take it to the dry cleaners and see if they can help. Hope something works for you...I 've been there and it is so frustrating...

Breastmilk has stained a number of my issues, yet no longer many. It does seem humorous even as it dries, yet regularly in the wash it comes out properly. As others have suggested, you would possibly want to favor to make investments in some nursing pads. I truly have truly loved the washer-friendly cotton ones--they breathe extra perfect than the disposable ones, and that's a one-time fee fairly than having to purchase them again and again. even as i'm unable to get the garments in the washer immediately, I soak them in water and attempt to get out the stain that way, or keep them in an hermetic plastic bag (those are very accessible to carry in the diaper bag--you could positioned dirty diapers in them once you should, or keep dirty clothing in them!) when I get homestead and performance time, i attempt to rinse out the stain in the sink and then use stain remover suitable earlier the wash. I truly have discovered that the DREFT stain remover receives out the spit-up stains on toddler clothing (she not often spits up on me), and it also works large on toddler poop stains (which will be some thing you'll likely manage later.) also, the spray-n-wash with be certain skill. both easily a kind of paintings extra perfect than stain stick, zout, or shout.
