JUST KEEP ON TRAPPING, YOU'LL EVENTUALLY GET THE ALL. TRY TO FIND THEIR ENTRY POINT & PLUG IT. IF NECESSARY PLUG WITH STEEL WOOL, BRASS WOOL, OR A "CHORE BOY" SCOURING PAD ( 3 FOR $ 1.00 - WALMART).

First off insure you have no garbage laying around, and call the landlord.. Mice can squeeze through cracks in the foundation as small as about 3/8" .. The best thing it to insure all cracks in your foundation are filled either with mortar or expanding foam insulation. Mice like to find places to winter beginning this time of year. And it does not take much for these little buggers to get in and piss on stored pictures and keepsakes that then you or your spouse has to throw out all the time being upset about it.

If there are three found there are ten that aren't .. It's likely momma mouse made a next and the three you caught were from a litter of six or more.

Contact your landlord to let him know, and you can do the extermination your self with sticky traps, spring traps and bait such as DECON. ..

Of course you can exterminate the mice yourself. Buy the the 99 cent traps at 99 cent shops or for slightly hire ay drug store. Use some cream cheese and set up the traps. You're ready to go. Some mice are difficult to lure. But you have to be persistent and provide fresh cheese every day to lure them Good look

I caught one in my house on Sunday. Not scared, just don't want vermin in my home. I caught mine with a cheap wooden trap with a very small piece of chocolate on the spike. The choc was Cadbury's and has a nice smell to it...I almost fought the mouse for it ! 3 mice in one go means you may have a family of them,so get those traps in every room. Any building work going on near you? This could have made the mice run to your place. Good luck

They say for every mouse you see there's 7 more somewhere else. or is it 10? i can't remember.
D-Con works great, but then you have dead smelly mice around that you have to find.
Mouse traps are messy, but probably the best way to go.
you can try one of those sonic rodent speaker things. they actually do work. we could sit in my grandma's living room and watch mice play in the middle of the floor. after installing 1 or 2 of those, though, she was mouse free.
A good farm cat works great too. that's what we have. I'd be willing to get rid of a few if you want one!

well u wouldn't have to pay for an extermintor your landlord would have to take care of all of that. They would probably start off putting rat traps until they can get an exterminator out there. That's what they did to my friends apartment because the rats came in when the next door neighboors left and they all came over to her apartment and they were tiny but a couple of them.

Get a bunch of those sticky traps to catch them, in the mean time, try to find out where they are coming in from. Look inside your cabinets along the base of the walls, check corners behind dressers, windows, backdoors and when/if you find the spot go to the hardware store and ask them what do they recommend for clogging up those holes to prevent mice from entering. There you have it.

Notify your super; they should have a contract with an exterminator. Then continue to set out your mouse traps. I prefer trapping to the alternative- poison. Poison will get them, but they may die inside the wall cavity, and cause a stench.

I'm sorry to hear of your mouse troubles, but here's some things to consider...

Mice sexually mature and mate in as little as 5 weeks. Generally, sexual maturity is reached in 5 to 8 weeks.
Female mice reproduce up to 8 times in their lifespan, with litters averaging 4 to 7 pups. Therefore, a single female may produce up to 56 offspring annually.
After giving birth, they can be in heat and become pregnant again in as little as 24 to 48 hours... YIKES!!!
Females can be pregnant and still lactate to feed their current litter of pups. However, the gestation period may be slightly longer in this case.
They will reproduce year-round in stable environments with adequate food, water and harborage. Less favorable conditions limit reproduction to spring and autumn.
Keep in mind that mice can fit through any hole that a pencil could fit through, and rats can fit through holes the size of a quarter.
Hope this helps making your decision easier.

A cat would take care of it fast and permanently.
There is also mouse poison, the best is D-Con.
And there are always mouse traps if you don't mind removing their mashed up little bodies.

Of the three, I would prefer a cat--it will purr on your lap, play and entertain you, give you affection and love and be a friend.

If you found three there are more. Can you afford a cat? A pair of cats will run those mice out of there in no time.
