i dont know about India. but down here they're selling for between 270-400 thousand dollars... thats a lotta nuts...

It depends on the memory used in the i pod.
A 512 mb memory capacity ipod has price around 5000/- indian rupees.

I have a 60gb and it cost around 350 us. Best investment that I ever made. I listen to it at work, on the bus, in the car, at home. It's great! Also because I can easily carry all of my music with me, I find I listen to a wider variety of music.
