My wife had this "friend" at work, he stopped her in the hall one day and gave her a passionate kiss. We were having trouble at the time and since have gone to counseling. But during the counseling she never brought up this kiss. I should have but didn't. The guy has move to another town miles away but she still stays in contact with him. Am I being over suspecioous or do you think there is something going on?

I don't know about you, but not many women would let me passionately kiss them if I wasn't their lover. I'm sure if you thought real hard you could post lots more reasons why you thought your wife is cheating. You're in counseling and not getting any. Your wife is becoming more and more distant. Been there done that got the T-shirt. The subject of this kiss is hidden under the rug. The reason you didn't bring it up at counseling is you're afraid of the truth. You THINK there is something going on? If you have a suspicion that your wife is cheating then, chances are, she is! We all live in a state of denial and you've taken the first step to waking up!

"The worst blind person is the one who doesn't want to see." This is said in my country. The answers you're looking for are right before your eyes, may be isn't too late to get a better life with someone who really respects you and isn't fooling you around, isn't an easy decision to take, but as sooner as better. Why if he kissed her she didn't give a good kick in his groins? Was she thinking in use'em later? Why does she keep contact with him? Man you are doing an awful roll in here. Is better to suffer for only one week than to suffer all your life because you left her cheat on you for so long. Don't worry if you have kids, you'll divorce her not them. Perhaps, Why don't you contract the services of a private detective? May be if you catch her you can take a legal action against her for adultery and then you'll keep the house and the children's custody. Don't try to hurt any of them, verbally or physically, don't miss the chance to win in court. Every path start with only one step, is up to you.

If your past the rocky period, it wouldn't hurt to ask during an open and frank talk between you; don't bring it up as a source of contention, just mention it as part of a larger dialogue about how the two of you have moved on since.

Admit that you need reassurance; if she fesses up that things are still "going on", don't blow up but suggest that you either return to counseling or consider the other possibilities.

If you were having problems I would say that this guy knowingly took advantage of your wife's vulnerability however, your wife needs to know that her ties with this man should've been cut the moment he kissed her because he showed he had no respect for her or her marriage. Talk to her and let her know how you feel I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot she would've wanted the same thing from you.

You're being tested by her. She's thinking she settled when she married you and believes you will do anything to make her happy including turning a blind eye.

Don't be sooo concerned with her happiness as your own. Piss her off a little now and then and don't be sorry about it.

My wife did something similar and I now piss her off all the time and she says she loves me more now than before. Human beings are funny.

Somethings might be or might not. But either way you need to confront the problem instead of letting it keep happening. You might need to consider counseling again since it worked for both of you before.

You don't work with her do you? So that would mean that she told you about the kiss. I think that if there was something going on she would have kept that a secret. It is possible that they are just friends. Especially now that he lives farther away.
If she starts taking off on weekends without you, I'd start worrying. But for now I think your being overly suspicious.

You need to confront her and threaten him personally to beat him to a pulp. Be prepaired to send her packing if she refuses or even hesitates to tell this low life to never contact her again. Offer to help her pack and tell her to leave the key. God created man to act like a man and not some feminized alter ego of a woman. Good luck.

the fact that you asked is proof that you are worried and YES you need to be worried. The fact that you were havin probs at that time is worrying. She may have found a shoulder to "cry" on so she's keeping him along for times like that. You really have to confront this or you will always wonder.

Talk about this - you must!!

Good luck
