How does the game know where you're pointing relative to the screen?

the gun has a little camera inside it.. if you look closely at the ducks when you pull the trigger in Duck Hunt, you'll notice a little box flash around the duck.. the camera inside the gun detects whether or not the gun is aimed at the screen and that's how it determines if you have a hit or miss.. the sega shooter games were better because you couldn't really see the flashes on the screen with your eyes, so it was a more realistic experience..

The Zapper Light gun works like a real gun, take advantage of the tip on the gun and use that to aim your target. It does not have a camera! There is like a invisible beam that focuses on the television as you pull the trigger and will respond back to the game with a flash on the screen. That's my knowing of the gun and I still have it to this day! Can't wait for the Wii version of Duck Hunt!

DUCK HUNT yet in case you be conscious the Wii-Pistol it seems so freakin retarded you plug the Wii-Mote into the front of it and it would not actually have a series off because it might look like a gun that way and the Wii is meant for lil youthful ones and moms would bypass loopy and boycott Nintendo for education there youthful ones a thanks to shoot (It has a BUTTON truly of a series off!!!!!)
