I am planning to make a puppet head out of FIMO but want to check that I will be able to paint it with acrylics after it is dry. Otherwise it is back to papiermache!

you can paint it, if you want tothen I suggest you lightly sand it a little first, helps the paint stick a little better, also I would recomend that you seal it with a clar spray after you're done so the paint doesn't smudge or chip

You can but fimo comes in different colours anyway.

dont fimo come in all colours anyway so why do you need to paint it

Yes! but FIMO is already coloured isn't it?- You can mix and match colours to suit you.

You can paint it after it's been baked.
