i say acquit him, lol. anyway, everybody would be digging up his past criminal records and he would be at a disadvantage; with all the technicalities, there woul be a great deal he'd be put behind bars. so i'd make sure he has the best lawyer to defend him. (by then, i wouldnt be an impartial judge) :D

I would probably have to give the case to someone else, because of the whole conflict of interest or whatever it is. Even though I would love to let the man walk, I hope to think I would be an honest judge and do my job with professionalism

Sounds like defense and if anything that person would be charged with manslaughter. The fact that they were protecting another human being would be enough to find them not guilty.

And it really wouldn't matter if it was MY daughter. Every girl is someone's daughter...

that would be hard the right thing to do would be to turn the case over to a new judge, but i would be so grateful that i would want to kick it out of court or something. Good challenging question

He just did away with a Rapist, I'd give him his rights back...If I understand this correctly.

turn him over to a different judge. and there are no ex-felons.

It would be a conflict of interest, and if I was a good judge, I'd pass it to another judge.

nobody is above the law hopefully i would treat him like any other person who commited a crime or i would excuse myself for the case

I would first legalize marijuana then I would throw him in jail. sorry pal...but marijuana is better than a daughter.
