m buying a birthday gift for a guy friend -- just a friend. i dont really know him.. what can i buy???

I'm known for getting creative gifts for people. It works with my friends cause they never know what they'll get. The last time I bought a guy friend something (I had only known him for a few months) I got a AAA book on Maine. He had told me that was where he wanted to move to in the next few years. It sounds stupid, but he really liked it. And he still has it. He told me the other day that when he gets a tired of working all the time and not having much time to himself, he gets it out and reads it. The rest, attractions, maps... it has a lot of info. Sounds dorky, I know.
Another friend of mine really liked fondue... but didn't have a fondue pot. So I got one for him as a christmas present. It came with a cookbook and some extras. That was over 5 years ago and he still has it and uses it to impress his dates. LOL But think about conversations you've had lately... chances are, you'll be able to tell what he's interested in.... Birthday presents should be thoughtful... Something that the person wouldn't go out and buy themselves. Good luck!

gift card to walmart, shopko, etc, or a fave clothing store, or if he is into movies, music, or gaming, an electronics store like sam goody, f.y.e., or best buy. if hes a humorous guy, get him a t-shirt or two with a funny saying on the front. dont forget a card!

If he likes action movies, "The Inside Man" is a really good movie that he will surely like. Also, "Mission Impossible 3" and "X-men 3" have just came out too! You can't really go wrong with movies for a guy!

a nice tee-shirt with a funny message, a book, a bottle of wine, a cd, a movie dvd, a nice lighter if he smokes... Just show u haven't forgotten, he should appreciate it.
