Is it a DIY job or should I contact a professional? If so, what professional..an electrician or handy man? Thanks!

If you think you can get the size right, turn off the breaker and mess with the electrical bit, it will be a fairly easy half hour job. Making the trip to the hardware store will be the biggest part of the job.

Usually this is a do-it yourself project. However, in some areas code requirements have changed. Older vents were vented into the attic. Newer codes require that they be vented to the outside. You may want to check your local codes. This from a general contractor.

It depends on how handy you are with tools. But it's not a difficult job. I'm sure you can handle it.

This is a DIY job....it is real simple. Home Depot people can tell you how to do it.
