I fit best somewhere in the middle.Grew up in the suburbs 15 minutes outside of a city, went to college in a rural setting. Have lived in 2 major, east coast cities. I'm much more comfortable in an urban setting than most of the other white bread suburbanites I know...but I wouldn't want to be dropped off to fend for myself in some of the neighborhoods around here.

I grew up feeling extra gentle with black friends because of the fact white people in my community have been quite judgemental. White little ones in college in easy terms wanted to be friends with those of the better financial classification.
