Ok, First off. I don’t want to blow this out of proportion
My period still isn’t really regular. I get it basically the last week of the month. Normally like the 24-27th… then it goes for a week and it’s done.
Well September 24th came around, and so did the 25th, 26th, and 27th… nothing.
Still haven’t gotten it yet—and normally I get really bad cramps a day or so before, still haven’t gotten those either.
I’ve been with my boyfriend for about a year. We live together and we’re very careful when it comes to sex, we use a condom EVERY time because really.. we’re not ready for a child. Don’t get me wrong- If I found out I was pregnant.. I would keep it and love it like no other. But we have so many things left to do in our lives before we bring someone else into this world. It's a scary thing-
But basically what I’m getting to is, when do I start to worry?
When do I take a test?

The menstrual cycle is an interesting thing and there are so many reasons why you could be experiencing problems. First, you say you always use condom so is there a reason you feel that the condom was defective? Second, stress can affect your cycle if you are having anxiety or worried about usually life challenges. Next, sometime your cycle changes when it get close to your birthday. Now If you are not pregnant your ovaries could be on the fritz. That means you could suffer with an irregular cycle from lack of ovulation. If that is the case you may be asked to monitor your basal body temperature daily. During ovulation your body temperature rises about 0.5 degrees and stays elevated until your cycle. Failure to ovulate can be caused again by stress, excessive exercise, eating disorders, being overweight because of excess estrogen stored in body fat which shuts off the ovulation center in the brain causing your cycle not to come and being too thin can also affect the cycle because the body fat has dropped to a level that is below what is needed to support the menstrual cycle. If you miss your cycle wait two week later before doing a test for an accurate reading. No premature pannicking is allowed..I feel you will be fine just relax and if you are pregnant I believe you will be a good parent. Good Luck

Usually a pregnancy is known by the morning sickness and in some people a dizzy feeling. May be you wait for the period for 2-3 weeks and if the notional date of next period also does not bring the menstruation, go for a pregnancy test.

I would wait until I'm a couple weeks late before buying a test. Because if you are stressed in anyway, that can cause you to be late and other factors can too. Give it a couple weeks to make sure you don't start or at least that is what I would do.

honestly i would take a test a few days after your missed period...but be careful because it might come back negative so you might want to buy the tests with two in the box. take a test..if nothing in about 2 weeks take another test...if you still didnt get your period and your a little unsure go to your doctor.

take a test now, you are about a week late. if you are pregnant it should be positive by now. if negative, try again in about 3-4 days if you dont get your period. it is not uncommon to miss a period every now and then so dont worry too much unless it becomes a pattern

test now, but if your under alot of stress you could be late for that reason, go see your doctor. There maybe another medical problem that may be delaying ur period.

Good luck whatever the out come
