We all have our past. We all have tragedies that seem hard to overcome. The Amish people have already let go of the hate and forgave the shooter. How do we know when and who is going to snap and do this?? Even his wife said he was a pleasant and loving man. does this mean that we can never really know what is in the hearts of the people that we know and love? I myself have had issuses of depression but I would never go out and kill an innocent or even a guilty person

This man obviously never told anyone what he did. He was never able to get it off his chest. He let it build inside of him for 20 years, which only allowed it to grow and become stronger. What he did 20 years ago, and what he did to those children is wrong on every level. His problem is that he kept his problems to himself. If he only confessed and found some type of forgiveness maybe this would have never had happened.
