The more sulfur contained in a food, the more gas, AND the more smell. The sulfur is converted into hydrogen sulfide gas, and that pretty well sums it up.

It produces carbon disulphide gas as it breaks down in the gut. That's what makes your farts smell cabbagey too.

Some one told me to drink camomille tea before you go to bed and your gas wont smell. I am not so sure about it, but you can always give it a try!
