morning after pills work within 72 hrs. the long it stretches, the more it'll lose its effectiveness. thats also the main reason why they're called morning after pills don't u think? Cause they work best when taken within 24 hrs.

Yes, I heard you have to use it within 48 or 72 hours for it to be effective, but you should definitely consult w/ a medical professional for a 100 % confirmation. You should try and call your local planned parenthood, they are usually good with questions over the phone. Good luck...whatever you do, do not take that pill now, it could be trouble.


BTW MCS...72 hours is only 3 days not FOUR...

I'm afraid it is dear. Jeepers, I hope you're not pregnant cuz it seems that's the last thing you need, am I right? I just think four days is too long for the morning after to work now. Sorry, but I'm just basing my opinion on the fact that the fertilization takes place rapidly after intercourse.
