Ever since I was addicted to Cliff Richard's songs, I started liking the name Richard too. It is a rich name!

At the same time, I tell you, I didn't like a guy whose name was Richard Gordon. I use to mention about him as Wretched Gorden in my conversation with others. Sorry!

The only bad part of this name is that "Dick" is the short name for Richard.

yeah i like the name richard i was even thinking of naming one of my children richard if i ever have any that is but the downsides of the name are name calling etc but i think its a good name

Sounds a bit regal for my liking, like Richard the Lionheart or something. Most people shorten it to Dick, Dickie or Dicko (these type of people need Viagra to get up in the morning! he he)

Get this....My boyfriend, my best friend, my stepdad, my next door neighbour, my friends son and 3 blokes that drink in my local are all called Richard. It is the most common name in my life!

I like the name Richard..... You can also use Rick or Ricky it doesn't have to be shortened to Dick.... and truthfully Dick is fine too.... It is all in the mindset!
