A good point indeed. If you are able to find answers to any question you need using search engines, may be you dont need to ask questions. Yahoo answers gives the benefit of the practical side of things,which are often not found on the web. It is the wide participation that is the highlight of this forum. Isn't it nice that there is a service like YA and there are people who are willing to share what they know.

Search engines are the best for answerign ANY question. PLus with a search engine you don't get some teeny bopper giving you some jackass of an answer.

The few times I have asked a question here the answers were far more elaborate, useful, and easy to find than anything I could have gotten on a search engin.

Search engines do not contain my witty responses to your questions, yet. But I am working on a multi million dollar deal with google that will give my witty answers to your search.

I am insulted! Yahoo answers combines the brightest minds of crackpots, mostly either aged 4 years old, 90 years old or chinese to come together with eye crossing answers that usually end up saying something like "see a doctor."

Good!!! try asking a GOOD QUESTION here and try the same in any search engine...... You will find the Answer yourself......there is a difference betn. the two....vast difference. lot of good answer plus in a way ....meet lot of online friends!!!
