me and my husbands family dont talk to each others we hate each others and it is mutual 6 months a go we had a big fight together because they told people that their son is divorcing me because I dont let him talk to them and my husband did not take no action the only thing he did he told me that he is not talking to them and he have no contact with them untill I found out that they still call him on his work cellphone and he still go to their house how can i trust him or deal with him or even stay with him please give me your honest opinion and if you ask me who started the problems they did it was from their side and my husband did not stand for them and he knows it is their fault and he told me that he gave them his work cell phone that they can stay in touch with them.

Hmmm. Sounds like my family. I am having the same problem. They were keeping stuff from me. It breaks down a huge trust between you and your partner. I've learned that nothing comes between family. You can't change someone even if you and everyone else think its for the better. I have the same problem. Let me know what you come up with!

Well if you think you can make him break away from family ties... sad to say you are mistaken....
He probably didn't want you to know cause it would just cause a war at home.... and really who needs that.
Do you really care that he is talking to them ..as long as they don't hassel you... don't worry about it
Would you cut ties with your family over something so silly?
Keep it up and they might just be right... divorce might just be around the corner

For my wife to stop me from speaking with my family they would have to have done some pretty rotten things to her. Ultimately family is family a blood tie that can't be easily broken. You need to figure out if what they did for you to stop talking or vice versa was worth all this animosity worth it.

you are not going to break a man up with his family, his blood relatives. that is just insane. If you and your husband can't get along in the face of this, you should leave. You should be encouraging him to be in touch for family. How well do you get along with your family.

If you feel you cannot trust him anymore, maybe it is time for a divorce. I would try counseling first and see what happens. Everybody deserves a second chance and maybe even a third chance, also.

The whole thing is it is his family, some people can't let go of that. how do you think you would react if you were in his position? i know my children would never not contact me over another. the family is what he know best, unconditional...Good luck

sounds to me that he doesn't respect you enough to have you in his life. When you become married you are then his family first and then they are, if he doesn't love you and respect you enough to back you up then what can you expect from him in the future?
