I am looking for new column ideas

I would suggest features and/or editorials about positive things.
There is enough news, violence and controversy throughout the news. Why not take a small piece and turn it around? Let the people focus on how their community is improving, not how it's declining.

A column that is not just the writers opinion, but based on facts and research. I hate political preaching from any columnist. There are very few columns I read, therefore I must say less columns and more truth.

More crossword puzzles. Outside of sports and puzzles, the rest is hyped, twisted sensationalism governed by spin doctors.

things of important that deals with everyday life. like the bad things that happen at schools and child abuse in the home. stuff like that
