I had a dream lastnight and i'm pretty sure it has deeper meaning.

in it I learned of a place where animals (like big rats and rabbits) were taken to and ran tests on and rats were fed other rats.

the place was a very long room with cages on either side. the animals thought that it was going to be a fun place but shortly after they got there they were tortured and tested.

i screamed and cried in gut renching terror.. the visions of the animals are still so horrible.

I don't watch scarey movies.. i don't listen to creepy music..
so, i just wanted some in put on what it may mean.

Are you a Buddhist? If not, you share their philosophy on the sanctity of life and the rights of all living things. You believe that all creatures great and small have the right to live and be treated humanely. Either that, or you ate some really spicy food right before bedtime.

Your dreams are about you, or parts of you and every thing in the dream is a part of you. Tell me are you being tested. Do you feel your basic nature is being manipulated. Has life not turned out the way your expected. Do you feel your freedom is being threatened? Are you competing with others like yourself?

I am getting a vision that you are a student and your brain is starting to hurt. The class rooms start to feel like cages and the lecturers are turning into Dr Jekylls.

My suggestion, don't do psychology, look for an exit, run while you still know where the exit is.

So what do you think, am I close? Only you know what the dream means.

Rats, rabbits = tiny animals = protection
Long room with cages = freedom restricted
Being tortured and tested = insecurity

In your case, you projected tiny animals like rats and rabbits being tested and torture. That signifies your fear of insecurity. You probably feel insecure at that moment and subconsciously you projected your fear as they are animals being tortured. Perhaps in real life, you seem to have lots of freedom (long room). However, deep down, you feel like being restricted.

You screamed and cried in your dream because you are helpless. That goes the same in reality. You are trying to break free but you gain no support and so you vent it out in dream

Dreams are products of our own sub-concious minds. The question of dream imagery is, 'what does it mean to YOU'? Just like people dream of snakes, but snakes mean different things to different people. Some fear them, so a snake can represent a fear, but to someone with snakes as pets, they wouldn't mean fear at all. So, what do YOU think of when you think about lab rats and such??

The animals were being used cruely, do you feel like you or someone you know is being used in a cruel way by another??

The animals were tricked into going there, do you fee like you or someone you know is being cruely tricked about something??
