I am considering to have my lips done (enhance), as my natural are not that full. Is the result worth it?

I actually took the time to do a short search on this and from what I can see, I really believe you would be better off in the long run to try the LipVenom or LipFusion before going into the Dr.'s office. Since "All" the results are temporary anyway, why not try the least expensive and most non-invasive first? I actually use the Sally Hansen lip plumper myself, my top-lip isn't as full as I would like, but you do build a type of immunity to it after a while. So I would suggest either having 2 brands of lip-plumpers or taking a break from it every now and then. Also, I use lip-liner to kind of exaggerate my lips. I draw my line a little bigger than my lip actually is and fill in the space w/ my lipcolor. If you do it well, no one will be able to tell you're faking it. ;) Hope this helps. I have included a link that is very informative.

Most comestic lip enhancers only last about 6 months. For what they cost, I would say no! I find that most women that get their lips done often get a paralyzed look to their upper lip. Try some lip plumping glosses and leave the cosmetic surgery as an absolute last resort. Remember, once you start cosmetic procedures, there is maintenence involved and you will have to keep up with it.

Does it really make a difference if your lips aren't that full, everybody is unique and thats how it should be, having your lips enhanced dosn't improve your life, also there are many risks, most people who have this done look like they have rubber lips, you can tell it isn't natural. Try some decent lip gloss instead to highlight your own natural beauty, personally I think the pouty look is awful.

It's not worth it at all. Try some lip plumping lip gloss like Lip Venom or Lip Fusion from Sephora. They won't make your lips look like Angelina Jolie, but they do work and would be a better alternative than injecting nasty chemicals into your lips.

There is a lip gloss that i bought from House of Fraser in Bristol. I cant remember what it's called now. Its a see-through pink gloss in a see-through tube. It costs £10 and you can feel the bee stings working as it plumps. It's a really wierd sensation but really good. Hope this helps!

I wouldn't think so since the results aren't permanent. About half of what is injected is gone within the first 6 months, and you have to keep going back for more. To me, it sounds more like a revolving door policy than anything. They've got their patients coming back every three to six months spending thousands of dollars on each visit.

Such a waste of money! Are fuller lips REALLY gonna make you any better than you already are. You need to evaluate WHY you want fuller lips. Are you trying to look like someone else? I think you should invest your money in something more practical. Fuller lips will get you no where in life.

I don't think you should have them enhanced because it makes you look fake. You should try wearing lipsticks that give your lips a fuller look like max factor.

Each to their own! I don't particularly like the effect that I have seen on other people, so personally I wouldn't do it.

There are alot of great make-up buys out there that can make your lips look fuller.

Just remember big lips aren't everything - look at Mick Jagger! :-)

Are you sure you want lethal bacteria injected into your lips? I believe once you have it done, you have to keep it up. I would go to a make-up artist to show me how to apply make up to make my lips look fuller. I wish you luck in what ever you decide.
